TARGET MARKETING ON YOUR TERMS
The Union-Tribune's flexible preprint insert options enable you to choose when and where you want your message delivered. You can target specific ZIP codes, within ZIP codes, or saturate the entire county — It’s up to you.
SCHEDULING OPTIONS
Full-run preprinted supplements, or single-sheet flyers appearing in paid circulation, can be distributed any day, Tuesday through Sunday. Inserts running in U-TMC are delivered via USPS mail on Thursday/Friday.
ZIP CODE DISTRIBUTION
Choose the ZIP codes you want to reach based on geographic, demographic or psychographic marketing variables. Our Marketing department can help you identify your customers, show you where they live, what they like to do and more.
DIRECT-MAIL DISTRIBUTION (U-TMC)
For total market coverage, the Union-Tribune provides you with shared-mail delivery to the households of non-subscribers, via U-TMC. Capturing the attention of weekend shoppers, our shared-mail package of colorful inserts is mailed to approximately 670,000 non-subscribers every Thursday/Friday via the U.S. Postal Service (USPS), ensuring extremely reliable delivery.
• HIGH PENETRATION
U-TMC reaches over 89 percent of San Diego County households when combined with Union- Tribune daily circulation. And our database of subscribers and non-subscribers is updated monthly, to virtually eliminate overlap.
• MICRO TARGET ZONES (MTZ'S)
Now you can zoom-in on zones within ZIP codes with the Union-Tribune's Micro Target Zones (MTZs). Available in the U-TMC, this enables you to reach non-subscribers in a highly efficient manner.
MEXICO DISTRIBUTION
Our weekly distribution program to Mexico reaches 80,000 middle- and upper-class homes in Tijuana, and 50,000 in Mexicali. An estimated 90 percent of these targeted consumers shop in San Diego once a month or more. Make sure you include this valuable group of shoppers.
TOPPER PROGRAM – HIGH VISIBILITY
When delivered via the Union-Tribune, your insert can go on top of the newspaper so it’s the first thing readers see. Ask your account manager about Topper pricing.
